Somerset You can Do
Somerset You can Do is a volunteer recruitment service who are working with a national organisation called Nesta to understand how people choose to become volunteers. Because many of the groups of people we work with talk about transport as an issue for them living in a rural county we have agreed to explore this issue in a series of one off events in June. At these events we will map out existing provision, understand what issues people perceive there to be and what would help them . We will compile this information and make it available to our partners to assist them in their transport planning work.
If you and your group who is 50 years plus and not currently volunteering and they would like to attend we are holding two events in your area next month.
14th June, Glastonbury Town Hall, starting with light refreshments at 10:30am, we aim to finish by 2:30pm, lunch will be provided.
15th June, Minehead Social Club, starting with light refreshments at 10:30am, we aim to finish by 2:30pm, lunch will be provided
16th June, Princess Theatre, Burnham on sea, starting with light refreshments at 10:30am, we aim to finish by 2:30pm, lunch will be provided
